William Lewis & Son No. 126 violin project, sold as-is for repair, restoration, or parts. Made in Western Germany and labeled as a copy of Antonius Stradivarius 1713.
This is a vintage German trade/student violin sold through William Lewis & Son of Chicago. It is not currently set up or playable and should be considered a restoration/project instrument.
Known issues include:
- missing tuner pegs
- missing bridge
- missing tailpiece
- missing tailpiece/end button
- loose soundpost
- back seam separation/open seams
The violin shows normal cosmetic wear from age and use, including scratches, finish wear, and handling marks. Please review all photos carefully for condition and completeness. Sold exactly as shown, as-is, no returns .
