Up for sale is this full-size, 4/4, vintage Stradivarius model violin , made in Czechoslovakia in the early 20th century. It has a label under the bass-side f-hole reading “Made in Czecho Slovakia”.

This violin features:A single-piece spruce top and two-piece flamed maple backClassic orange-red spirit varnish, which has aged gracefully. There are several repaired cracks on the top board, which are professionally done and stable. A repair was also made to two cracks on the peg holes on the treble side of the scroll (see picture). The back, sides and neck are free from cracks and repairs. The tuners are likely replacements, because they are a bit short in length for the head. You may want to upgrade these at some point.

The violin comes with a newly installed bridge, strings, and fine tuners.

The finish shows signs of wear, as seen in the pictures. There are minor nicks in the wood along the edge.
