Up for sale is a beautifully preserved vintage Stradivarius model violin , likely made in Germany or France between 1890 and 1920 . It bears the traditional label “Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 1721” and is stamped “Conservatory” on the back — a mark used by quality trade workshops producing instruments for U.S. conservatories and teachers.

This violin features:

  • A two-piece spruce top and two-piece flamed maple back
  • Classic orange-red spirit varnish , aged gracefully
  • Newly installed bridge, strings, and fine tuners — ready to tune and play
  • Carved scroll, ebony pegs, and smooth fingerboard

The instrument’s original finish shows signs of wear, as seen in the pictures. There are minor nicks in the wood along the edge.
