Up for sale is this highly unusual 1970s or 1980s New York Pro Les Paul style electric guitar. It has a solid clear gold lucite or acrylic body. This guitar is eye-catching and interesting to look at. Aside from it’s appearance, it plays wonderfully well.
The guitar features two humbuckers and the typical Les Paul style setup with two volume and two tone knobs. All of the metal hardware has a warm gold tone. There is minor tarnishing on the bridge, saddle, and strap pegs. The rest of the guitar is in very good to excellent condition.
The neck is super straight and the frets are in excellent condition. The guitar has some weight to it, weighing in at 9lb 13oz. It is a good sounding and easy-to-play guitar with a feeling of high quality overall. The pickups produce a similar sound to a Les Paul and sound full and strong.
The headstock features a mother-of-pearl inlaid logo and smooth-working tuners.
The guitar comes with its original hard-shell case with the New York Pro logo.
Condition:
