The tuners are all original and have amber colored knobs.

The original label is inside the body and the serial number is 3729.

The action is approximately 3mm at the 12th fret. This was measured on top of the fret and below the low E string.

The original case is included with this guitar.

Dimensions:

– The nut width is 51.5mm.
– The action is approximately 3mm at the 12th fret. This was measured on top of the fret and below the low E string.
– Body width: 14 5/8″
– Body depth: 3 3/4″
– Overall length: 39.5″
– Fretboard length: 17 3/4″

Condition:
Body: The body is in very good to excellent condition.
– Top sound board:
– There is a small ding about 1” from the edge on the top (upper bout) left side.
– There are small scratches below the bridge that appear to be the result of putting new strings in over time.
– There is a scratch that goes from the bridge to the base.
– There is a ding to the right of the fretboard in the top right quadrant. Below that ding is a lacquer crack that does not go through the body.

Bottom:
– There appears to be no scratches, dings or anything of note.

The sides:
– There are minor scuff marks.
– The bottom/side: There is hazing in the finish, which almost appears to be the result of sunlight exposure or something like that.
– Top side near heal: Minor hazing at the top near the heal. Barely noticeable in pictures.

Neck:
– The frets are in good working condition with plenty of life in them.
– The neck is straight and does not look like there has been any work done to it. Where the heel and body join appears to be lighter in color. My first thought about this was that it meant there was a possible neck reset, but that isn’t the case. I inspected it thoroughly and it is all original. Also, I looked at other Di Giorgio Conservatorio No. 1 models, and they all have the same thing going on. (see pictures).

The bridge/saddle:
– Is in very good condition.

Di Giorgio History:
In 1908, after a few years as a luthier, the Italian immigrant Romeo Di Giorgio founded the fine guitar studio that bears his name. Di Giorgio was born, with a great future ahead. The big secret was in the sound of the instruments created by Mr. By Giorgio. His violins, mandolins, violas and all the other true works of art he created began to create fame among musicians at the time. Little by little, what used to be a small craft workshop turned into a small factory of acoustic musical instruments. Without losing tradition and quality, the business passed from father to son.
