Espana FL-70 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar 1969 Made in Finland

$425.00

In stock

Up for sale is this 1969 Espana FL-70 Dreadnought acoustic guitar. It features a white spruce top and mahogany sides done in a cherry finish. The guitar has a large pickguard and dreadnought body type. This is ideal for bluegrass or country-western music! The Espana logo on the top board is done in a mother-of-pearl or abalone.

The original label is inside the soundhole. The headstock has the Espana logo inlaid in mother-of-pearl / abalone. The fingerboard is rosewood.

Overall ,the guitar is in good to very good condition. The top board has a crack that runs down from the rosewood bridge to the edge of the lower bought (see pictures). This crack has been repaired and is stable. There are other surface cracks visible on the top board from the sound hole down the lower edge of the body. None of these are going through to the other side of the top board, so I would classify this as superficial.

The tuners are not original, but are actually quite nice and look good for the guitar. There is a small crack likely caused by an over-tightened screw on the original tuner. This crack does not go through to the front of the headstock and does not affect play (see pictures.. barely noticeable).

The frets are in very good condition and the neck plays well.

Other than what is mentioned above, the guitar is really good condition with very few marks, blemishes, etc. It has a great vibe.
