Mid 1960s Italian Parlor Guitar with Brev Tuners – Project Guitar

Mid 1960s Italian Parlor Guitar with Brev Tuners – Project Guitar

PROJECT GUITAR: This is an Italian-made acoustic guitar from the mid 1960s. It has Brev tuners and a three-part neck. The body sides and back are mahogany. The top and bottom boards have checking in the finish, they are not cracks in the wood.

The neck has a rosewood fingerboard and original frets. The action is bad and this guitar needs a neck reset. There is some separation at the neck joint. It is not really playable in this condition. The nut needs to be replaced as well. This would be an excellent project guitar, because I think once it is worked on, it will sound great. The tuners themselves are worth $80 (look up Brev / Eko tuners 1960s).
