Description
This is an Ovation Elite Standard Model 6768 Acoustic-Electric Guitar. The Elite Standard was made between 1993 and 1995. My guess is this is a 1995. This guitar is in excellent condition and plays beautifully. It has a warm and full sound and the action is great. The deep bowl back gives the guitar extreme comfort while playing and a rich sound.
The guitar comes with a travel backpack-style gig bag, which is in very good condition.
It is an acoustic-electric guitar and the electronics work and there are no issues with noise etc. Unplugged, it sounds like a full-bodied acoustic. Inside the guitar you will find the original label. The interior structure is sound and shows no sign of repairs. The neck is straight and the frets have plenty of life, since they are in excellent condition. The tuners work perfectly and have minor tarnish on the surface.
The guitar has a gorgeous orange-burst color with the Ovation soundhole system. The floral patterns seen in the pictures are raised pieces of wood sitting on top of the soundboard.
