PROJECT GUITAR: This is a 1940s – 1960s Latin American, possibly Cuban, classical acoustic guitar. It is a non-functioning instrument.

The guitar has been re-lacquered and needs some luthier work. This would be an excellent project guitar for someone looking to have a mid-century classical Latin American guitar. The guitar features:

• Solid spruce top
• Solid Cuban mahogany sides and back
• Multi-layered sound hole binding
• Ebony fingerboard and bridge
• Fan bracing
• 5-part neck construction

Here are some of the things it will need:

• Tuners
• Bridge/saddle work
• Top board repair where there is separation at the bass-side of the lower bout side wall
• There are some loose braces inside
• The 14th fret is missing and some frets need to be re-seated
• The back and sides are in very good condition, but will need some cleaning up of the finish.
