Description
Up for sale is this Spanish classical acoustic guitar. It appears to be from the 1960s or 1970s. The guitar was restored in the last 20 years, and includes the following: heavily re-lacquered finish, repair to the back, neck stabilization (small piece of wood stabilizing neck as seen in pictures of the soundhole), and headstock repair from a break. The nut has been replaced, I’m not sure why, and some of the frets are grooved.
Despite how unusual this guitar looks and its not-so-great condition, it has a surprisingly-good feeling and vibe. It feels fun in some odd way and it sounds very good.
The top board is solid, but I’m not sure what the wood is. The tuners are likely original. There is the original label underneath the restoration label.
It is strung up with new D’Addario Folk nylon strings. Other than the restorations, this is an interesting and good sounding guitar.
There is a name painted on the side. The guitar has a fair amount of scratches on the back and sides as seen in the pictures. The bridge saddle is grooved from various string setups as seen in the picture.
