Vintage Vivatone 4-String Banjo Ukulele / Banjolele – Figured Maple – Restoration Project
Up for sale is this vintage Vivatone 4-string banjo ukulele / banjolele with figured maple construction and a wooden resonator back.
This is being sold as a restoration/project instrument. The banjo head/skin is currently missing, and one of the tension hooks/tensioners is also missing. The original-style bridge is included as shown in the photos.
The instrument retains its four friction tuning pegs, fretboard, tailpiece, tension hardware, wooden resonator/back and most of its original hardware.
The wood is particularly attractive, with strong figuring visible on the resonator, rim and neck. The decorative black/red geometric band around the rim is also a nice period detail.
Condition notes:
- Missing banjo head/skin
- One tension hook/tensioner missing
- Bridge included but not installed

- Normal scratches, finish wear, oxidation and aging throughout
