Guild M-20 Acoustic Guitar, along with a Road Runner hard shell case, serial #AH-136, length 39 inches. Natural finish.

What a find! This 1965 Guild M-20 acoustic guitar is a real beauty. This is quite a rare guitar due to its age and serial number. The AH serial numbers were only produced in 1965 and there was a limited run of them.

This is a smaller-bodied guitar, measuring 39” in overall length (3/4 size). It has the warmest tones and resonance. Even though it is slightly smaller, it has the sound of a much bigger guitar. That is because Guild did an amazing job in the design and construction of this guitar.

The mahogany top, sides and bottom are able to produce a rich, deep, warm and resonant sound.

The wood specimens in this guitar are as follows:
– Fret board: rosewood
– Sound board: mahogany
– Back and sides: mahogany
– Neck: likely mahogany
The sound hole: is surrounded with inlay.

The headstock: The Guild emblem is inlaid with mother-of-pearl.

Tuners: The tuners are original and are decorative.

The original label is affixed to the inside under the sound hole.

A Roadrunner hard-shell case is included with the guitar (see pictures).

Overall Condition: The guitar is in very good condition. There are minor scratches and rubbings on the guitar, which is typical of age and mild use. All marks are visible in the pictures.
