Description
PROJECT GUITAR: Up for sale is this 1970s Harmony H6362 solid-top spruce acoustic guitar.
It is playable and sounds amazing. Why am I listing it as a “project guitar”? There is a little separation between the neck heel and the body (see picture with paper) due to glue drying out and shrinking, and the action is higher than I prefer it to be. I think this is a great project for someone, because it is not an overly big job to get this guitar to a super comfortable playing state, and it will sound excellent in the end.
That being said… the neck is stable and it is not going to separate more than that, and the guitar can be played today.
The guitar is in good to very good condition other than what I have mentioned above. There is a minor repaired crack on the top board, which is somewhat visible in the pictures. The neck is straight and the truss rod is usable. One dot inlay is missing on the fingerboard. The tuners are in excellent condition. There are some light blemishes here and there as seen in the pictures.
It is setup with new Martin 12 strings.
