Description
This is a 1987 Westone XA 1330 Anniversary Edition electric guitar with two single-coil pickups and one humbucker in the bridge position (SSH). It features a Bendmaster Deluxe tremolo / vibrato bridge and locking nut.
This guitar is incredible sounding and it feels like an extremely high-end instrument. In my opinion, this is going to be someone’s “number 1” guitar, in other words.. someone’s favorite. It has a great feeling.
The neck has a beautiful rosewood fingerboard with a really comfortable profile and fret setup. The shape and slight narrowness of the body makes this a very comfortable guitar to play. The Bendmaster Deluxe looks big, but it actually does not get in the way when playing. I found that the edge of my hand never hit it.
The action is incredible, smooth and easy to play. The neck is laser-straight and the frets are in excellent condition.
The volume, tone and selector knobs are well positioned and easy to access.
There is a small hairline crack on the side wall of the neck pocket, which does not affect the strength of the body or neck (see last picture). There are some dings along the edges as seen in the pictures. The high-E string tuner has been replaced and the original is in the case.
The guitar comes with a high-end padded travel case.
