Description
Up for sale is this 1972 Guild D-25 Cherry dreadnought acoustic guitar. It has a dreadnought body style. The guitar is in very good condition overall, with a few minor things to note (see below). The guitar has a deep and wide body, making it sound warm and full. The guitar appears to be all original except for the tuners. The tuners are vintage 1970s, but they are not the original ones. The guitar is signed by someone, but I cannot tell what the signature is. The original label is inside the soundhole and the serial number is also stamped on the back of the headstock. It is setup with new Martin strings (12-53) and it sounds great. Condition:
- The bridge appears to have been re-glued at some point, which is not an uncommon thing to happen.
- There are minor marks here and there, but nothing significant.
- There is a minor scratch on the top in the lower bought.
- The guitar must have been electrified at one point, and now has a well-done patch where the input jack used to be (see pictures of side / lower bought).
- There are no cracks.
- The truss rod works and has room left in both directions.
- The frets are in very good condition.
- The neck is straight, and there is no buzzing.
- The guitar has no structural or playing issues.
