This is a 1978 Randy Scruggs 2671S Professional Ibanez electric guitar. It is in all original finish, and overall it is in very good to excellent condition. Ibanez’s craftsmanship here is outstanding.
It features a solid, single-cutaway, ash body surrounded by an ornate binding. The neck is bound and finished with an ebony fingerboard and rectangular abalone inlays. The frets are in excellent condition.

There is very minor rubbing wear on the top-side of the lower bout where an arm might rest from playing. There is also a minor ding below the bridge. The decorative curl just above the serial number on the back of the headstock shows signs of an old repair. I’m guessing it was banged into and knocked that little piece off at some point.

The guitar also features a double humbucker setup. Both pickups have been replaced with upgraded hardware. The neck / rhythm pickup is a 1980s Gibson USA humbucker pickup. The bridge / lead pickup is a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker pickup also from the 1980s.

The metal hardware, including tuners, bridge, saddle, etc. is gold-washed and all original. There is minor tarnish on the saddle/bridge as seen in pictures. The gold on the top of bass side of the saddle near the adjuster screw is worn.

The headstock features the original tuners and an abalone inlaid Ibanez logo. There is a minor scratch near the G and B tuners.

A newer hardshell padded case is included.
