Description
This is a rare and wonderful Fijian coconut shell ukulele from the 1930s. It has a wonderful heart sound hole and double coconut back. It is in very good to excellent condition. It sounds great and is a warm little instrument.
Inside the sound hole there is a small paper label that reads “Wailoku Suva Fiji”. My guess is that this is where it was handmade.
The ukulele has 12 frets and 4 tuners on the pegboard. There are no cracks or repairs anywhere.
The overall size is 21 1/2″ in length. The length from the nut to the bridge is 13 3/4″.
