Description
Up for sale is this super rare and super amazing 1932 Gibson catalog for guitars, banjos, mandolins and ukuleles, simply titled: “Gibson Guitars, Banjos, Mandolins, Ukuleles” New York, 71 West 23rd Street (Masonic Temple).
This catalog is like a time capsule of the early 1930s. I have only seen one other example of this catalog out there for this particular year. I am not sure why they are so rare, but they are.
Inside you’ll find mostly black and white images, but occasionally, there are splashes of color which enhances the overall feeling of the catalog.
There are 68 pages in total, not including the front and back cover.
Overall, the catalog is in good condition. There are no missing pages. There are no pen or pencil marks that I could find in the catalog. The front and back cover have light staining as seen in the pictures. The back cover also has a bent corner as seen in the pictures. There are light crease marks on pages 13 and 22 as seen in one of the pictures. Otherwise, the catalog feels crisp and clean.
